Se dieron a conocer los nominados a los premios Brit, que se entregarán el próximo 16 de febrero en el Earl’s Court londinense. Esta edición cuenta con una gran presencia femenina entre los nominados.

Los premios de la Academia de la Música Británica cumplen 30 años y lo celebrarán con mayoría femenina entre sus nominados.

Como favoritas, con tres nominaciones, llegan Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, Florence & The Machine y Pixie Lott.

Otros que figuran entre los nominados se encuentran Robbie Williams, Friendly Fires, Dizzee Rascal, La Roux, Paolo Nutini, Animal collective, Empire of the Sun, Kasabian, Mika, Muse, Shakira, Rihanna y Norah Jones.

En su aniversario número 30 los Premios Brit darán un premio al Mejor disco de los últimos 30 años, terna donde se encuentran Coldplay (A Rush of Blood to the Head), Dido (No Angel), Dire Straits (Brothers in Arms), Duffy (Rockferry), Keane (Hopes & Fears), Oasis (What’s the Store – Morning Glory?), Phil Collins (No Jacket Required), Sade (Diamond Life), The Verve (Urban Hymns) y Travis (The Man Who).
